Year Twenty Double One

Is it strange that its new year and there's absolutely nothing on my mind? Like NOTHING !!
Well except that I'm wondering how and why pimples have appeared on my forehead and why my lips are cracked due to harmattan! At least that's something, yea? Lol.
I can't complain though! I'm thankful to God that I am alive to see the weather and that I have pimples, dead people don't have pimples, people on hospital beds can't complain about cracked lips, I'm very fortunate to have pimples and cracked lips, and I am grateful!
Sometime in December while many of us complained bitterly about the heat and hot weather, a lot of people were burnt to death, I'm sure they'll rather stay under the sun 24hrs 7days than go the way they did and for that reason I am grateful to God Almighty and very thankful for the gift of life, cos if not for God, I won't be here!
Back to my resolutions matter, sincerely though no resolutions o, no written down plans, nothing! That doesn't mean I don't know what I want yea? And that doesn't mean unexpected opportunities won't come up, but there's nothing to write, or maybe I just don't want to put my mind to it! My reason?? Or maybe I should just write down my list, let's see how it goes!

*sigh* you see, apparently there's nothing to write down, cos the only thing I can think of is "FOCUS", basically that has been the only thing on my mind, I have a lot of carried over plans from 2010, all I need is focus to complete them, and if new opportunities come up, its to focus "NONI" cos I'll probably not go back to that page of that notepad after I write it down, maybe in 2012, I'll have resolutions!
But still on still I'm grateful to God though, cos not everyone was lucky to make it to 2011. I made it in good health, not by my power but by God's grace, you made it too that's why you can read this, I'm happy for you!
2010 is history, plus everything that happened that year, its all gone! I'll term 2010 "my year of learning and growing" so in 2011, I'll use the lessons I learnt from 2010, let's see how it goes, and for as many of us that have written down new year resolutions, may God help us meet our targets!
Whatever happens in 2011, I'm just gonna smile and wave! Lol, Its hard right? Lol,I know! But I'm hoping for the best, a year that I'll be able to just smile all through, I must confess 2010 was one of such years, the only thing that shook me was my dad's death, So in 2011 ,I am looking forward to a year like 2010, but NO LOSSES, NO SORROW,NO PAIN, and TRIPPLE blessings compared to that of 2010, I'm entering 2011, like someone who has seen "expo" of an exam! That's how I'm strolling into 2011!! My earthly father is gone, my first year without a father, I'm stepping into Ikhaz-Yakubu's shoes, let's see how this goes!
